We don't skip steps, and we don't invent a new process for every client. Sketch to materials, pattern to sample, fitting to pre-production — that's the work. Engage us for one stage or the full path.

Sketch, Design & Plan
We start with where you actually are — a sketch, a Pinterest board, a reference garment, or just an idea. A design intake session turns that into a plan: silhouettes, construction intent, materials direction, and a timeline. You leave this stage with technical flats and a clear scope, not a vague mood.

Material Sourcing
The design only works if the materials do. We source fabrics, trims, hardware, and linings against your budget, hand-feel, and production reality — including mills that will actually take a small order. Swatches come in before anything is cut.

Pattern Making
We draft the first pattern for the body, the fabric, and how the garment will be sewn — not just how it looks on a page. Digital patterns are built in PAD System and adjusted as fittings come in, so the file that leaves the studio is the one a factory can cut from.

Sample Making
We sew our own samples in-house. The first prototype is a working garment you can hold, wear, and mark up — construction, seams, and hardware included. This is the messy middle most studios outsource; we keep it in the room so problems get solved before they become factory problems.

- Notes captured for the next round
- Sample shipped or available for pickup

Fittings / Adjustments
Fit is where the product becomes real. We run fittings with the patternmaker, mark the sample, and apply adjustments to the pattern before sewing the next round. One fitting is typical; more complex styles get additional rounds quoted up front so there are no surprises.

Pre-Production
When the sample is approved, we package everything a factory needs: production-ready patterns, a tech pack with flats and POM, a BOM, and a costing workbook. You own the files. We can introduce you to vetted factories — we don't sew production runs ourselves.

Weekly digital updates while a project is active. Decisions get documented. If scope changes, we quote the change before we do the work.
Most full-development projects land in weeks, not months — simple styles faster, outerwear and multi-piece garments longer. We'll give you a timeline at intake and tell you if we're slipping.
